Long-standing scanning platform that added native exploit validation in 2026, making it one of the few vendors that touches all five stages without a second product, though scoping is only partial.
Qualys has been scanning since 1999 and the depth shows: asset management, vulnerability management, web application scanning, external attack surface management, and ingestion of third-party findings from Microsoft, Wiz and Okta into Enterprise TruRisk Management.
Validation moved from gap to strength during 2026. TruConfirm runs production-safe exploit validation inside the exposure management application, and Agent Val reached general availability in March 2026 covering more than 1,600 vulnerabilities, included with the Enterprise TruRisk Management subscription, which is itself a separately licensed module.
Prioritisation uses the TruRisk score, combining asset criticality with what the vendor describes as more than twenty-five threat feeds, and mobilisation runs through TruRisk Eliminate and integrated patch management, so the fix can happen in the same platform that found the problem.
The historic criticism is user experience and the sprawl of modules rather than capability. No price list is published, which makes comparison against per-asset competitors hard without a proposal.
