Reach the people who run exposure programs.
CTEE readers are security engineers, vulnerability and exposure management leads, and the CISOs who approve their budgets. Two ways to reach them, both clearly labelled, neither able to influence what we write.
1. Sponsor the Exposure Brief
One email a month. One sponsor per issue, placed after the lead item and marked Sponsor.
| Item | Spec |
|---|---|
| Placement | Single slot per issue, below the lead item, labelled Sponsor |
| Copy | Title up to 80 characters, body 400 to 600 characters, one link. We edit for tone and fact; you approve the final |
| Report | Sends, opens, clicks on your link, delivered within 7 days of the issue |
| Exclusivity | No competing exposure-management sponsor in the same issue |
| Price | Founding sponsor slot, price on request. Before any booking we share the current confirmed-subscriber count and open rate |
2. List your product in the directory
Every product we know about gets a free editorial entry. Vendors can claim their entry, and can pay for a sponsored listing. The directory table itself is always in editorial order: alphabetical, or whichever stage sort the reader picks.
| Tier | What you get | What you do not get |
|---|---|---|
| Editorial (free) | Name, categories, our summary, link marked nofollow | Any say over the summary |
| Claimed (free) | Correct factual errors, add a 150-character vendor description labelled "Vendor says", followed link | Removal of our summary |
| Sponsored listing (paid, monthly) | A placement labelled "Sponsored listing" in the sponsored block above the directory table, plus logo, one screenshot, the 150-character "Vendor says" statement, and a link marked rel="sponsored" | Any change to your position in the table, your stage scores or our summary. Payment never moves a product up the table |
What money does not buy
- Editorial summaries, blog posts, and assessment recommendations are written without sponsor input and are not shown to sponsors before publication.
- Sponsored placement is always labelled Sponsor (newsletter) or Sponsored listing (directory). Unlabelled placement is not for sale at any price.
- Sponsored listings appear only in their own labelled block above the directory table. Order in the table, stage scores and summaries are editorial and cannot be bought.
- We do not take product demos as a condition of sponsorship, and sponsoring does not get a product reviewed.
- We publish corrections when we are wrong, whether or not the vendor is a sponsor.
To sponsor an issue or claim a listing, email hello@ctee.org with the product name and which option you want. Replies within two working days.
